Children’s Book Introduces Stock Market Basics Through Bull and Bear Characters

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Teaching children about the stock market may sound ambitious, but author Craig A. Robinson has found a way to make it fun, simple, and memorable. His second title in the Bull & Bear children’s seriesBull & Bear Race at the Big Board, introduces kids ages 3–7 to the ups and downs of investing through playful characters and rhyming storytelling.

In the story, Bull and Bear spend a lively day at the stock exchange. From the opening to the closing bell, they race to see whether prices will rise or fall. Bull cheers when stocks go up; Bear celebrates when they go down. Along the way, children learn what stocks, bonds, and other investments are, and why markets matter.

Robinson, who has more than 20 years of investment management experience, was inspired to write the book while reading bedtime stories to his daughters. He saw a gap in children’s literature: there were plenty of stories about animals, trucks, or fairytales, but none that explained money or investing. That’s when he decided to launch Nolyne Publishing, with the mission of teaching financial literacy through engaging children’s books.

“The stock market doesn’t have to be scary or confusing,” Robinson said. “By turning it into a race between Bull and Bear, kids can see how it works in a way that’s entertaining and age-appropriate. These are the building blocks for financial confidence later in life.”

Illustrated by Carolina Buzio, the book combines humor, bright visuals, and rhymes to capture the attention of young readers. The approachable style makes it a favorite for parents, teachers, and community leaders looking to spark curiosity about finance early on.

The release of Bull & Bear Race at the Big Board reflects a broader push by educators and advocates to improve financial literacy in the United States. With only a small percentage of schools requiring financial education classes, Robinson believes parents must play a central role. His series gives them tools to start meaningful conversations at home.

Available now through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and www.Nolyne.com, the book is both a teaching tool and a storytime favorite.
